In the coffee house,
the walls and brews are crow black;
a light on the stage
illuminates the music.
Aggravations fall away.

I admit I’m pushing it a bit, trying to meet so many challenges with one tanka. After enjoying live guitar music at the Glendale Coffee Club last night, I have a busy day ahead: Readers Theater at Tempe Library, a writing workshop at the Mesa Library, and then watching a play at Brelby Theater in Glendale.
Nicely done 🙂
