Wobbly table

Today’s NaPoWriMo challenge was to write a dream dictionary definition of words chosen from a list.

Dreaming of a wobbly table (see also: table,
dining; see also: rickety, rocky unstable, tottering)
at which you are the host may mean your life
is unbalanced, is missing something; one of your legs
(pillars or foundations) is too short, and you fear
embarrassment or loss of face.
If you are a guest at this table, however,
and the host happens to be wearing a very tall hat,
and if that host should shove a dormouse
into a teapot, you may be sure of one thing.
Loss of face is not an issue here.
You have simply lost your head.
