Denise Aileen DeVries is a translator and writer from Colorado who lived in Arizona for 4 years after living in Virginia for forty years. She returned to Kilmarnock, VA in spring of 2020 with her husband and pets. Denise enjoys introducing "painless poetry" writing to all levels of students in community settings and plans to start some mini-retreats for women in transition who want to explore their creativity.
