Well, I wrote 50,000 words in 30 days! Now the real work begins: editing.

Before you begin attacking your work with a red pen and scissors, take a break, as Stephen King advises; let your work “cool off,” as Ray Bradbury said, “… and then, instead of rewriting it, you relive it.”

“Nanowrimo is not about word count. It’s about focusing our choices and behaviors long enough to develop new habits…We “win” Nanowrimo when we use it as a tool to direct our energies and reach further goals.” – Piper Bayard

But why waste the momentum? Tomorrow I’ll begin editing what I wrote in NaNoWriMo 2020!
