....Bilocalalia....

Creosote inhales
moisture from my exhaled breath
exuding fragrant
memories as we exchange
oxygen and sentience.

I have written quite a few poems about my favoriteplant. This one is inspired by today’s OctPoWriMo and onedailyprompt prompts.

Denise Aileen DeVries is a translator and writer from Colorado who lived in Arizona for 4 years after living in Virginia for forty years.
