Thinking about participating in National Novel Writing Month? Maybe a pep talk will help.

If you’ve taken part in NaNoWriMo at least once, you might have read a Pep Talk to two. The organization reaches out to established authors and asks them to write a post to go on the official website. They ask them to write something that will inspire, encourage, or offer advice to those writers who are picking up the torch on November 1st. When I say established, let me list some names for you: Brandon Sanderson, Charlaine Harris, Chuck Wendig, Dean Koontz, Diana Gabaldon, Erin Morgenstern, James Patterson, Jim Butcher, John Greene, Lemony Snicket, Lev Grossman, Mercedes Lackey, Neil Gaiman, Patrick Rothfuss, Piers Anthony, and more.
